A few weeks ago Kimmy sent me an email about cupcakes and this new place in Utah she had heard about. Well it was Saturday morning and we didn't have any plans, It made me remember this cute blog I had seen called Enjoy cupcakes near Santa Barbara. So we took a day trip to Santa Barbara, Solvang, and Los Olivos. We had the best day and ate the best cupcakes.
Within an hour we were loaded up in the car.
We ate Hershey kisses for breakfast. Joe told the kids a story about a Dad who fed his kids chocolate cake for breakfast and than sang the song "Dad is great for giving us chocolate cake" And that is the song they sang the whole drive, with different versions for Hershey kisses.
Solavang was darling!
There was a car show going on. We had fun seeing all the old cars!
We got cupcakes
And they were amazing!!!
We decided we could live in Los Olivos.... it was so cute!
We Finished off the day playing at this great park we found.
Right after this push on the giant swing Kaul said "This is the grreeeaaattessst daaayyy of my Liiifffee!!" Those moments make little trips like this totally worth it!! I really do love you rugrats!
